About

I like making things that are useful for people and using software to remove friction from the systems around them.

About

I like making things that are useful for people. I focus on outcomes rather than the process for its own sake, because what matters is whether what is done solves real problems.

AI enables systems to adapt to people, not the other way around. No one should have to memorize arbitrary steps or bureaucratic processes to perform well in inefficient systems. AI opens opportunities to rethink our systems and efficiently explore the space of what is possible.

AI + Systems

I am most interested in AI when it changes how a system behaves for the person using it. The useful question is whether intelligence makes the workflow easier to understand, easier to steer, and easier to trust.

That is why I keep coming back to note-taking, recommendation systems, project tools, and interfaces that coordinate multiple sources of context instead of forcing rigid flows.

Markets

Finance and math keep me interested because they reward structured thinking under uncertainty. Markets compress incentives, feedback loops, and incomplete information into something you can study and act on.

That perspective carries into product work too. I tend to think in tradeoffs, constraints, and second-order effects rather than isolated features.

Design

I care about interfaces that feel deliberate. Good design is not decoration after the fact; it is part of how a system communicates its logic.

Typography, layout, motion, and interaction all matter because they change how quickly someone can orient themselves and how much friction they feel while doing real work.
